FOREIGN STUDENTS

There are different possibilities for foreign students to study at the Università del Salento.
School of Italian for Foreigners
Foreign students can study Italian language and culture at the School of Italian for foreigners established by the Università del Salento in 2000. All our courses of Italian language refer to the European Framework and the guidelines outlined by the European Council related to foreign language acquisition. All levels are offered in Summer Intensive courses, Standard Courses and Semester Courses. For information regarding fees and dates, visa procedures, extra-curricular activities, course description, accommodation and application, please visit the School website.
Courses taught in English
A number of courses in different fields are taught in English and addressed to foreign students and Italian students with a B2 level (First Certificate) of English. The Università del Salento issues attendance and grade certificates. Foreign Universities recognize our courses for credit, however, each institution has its own procedures and regulation for recognition. Therefore, we strongly recommend students to contact their own Faculty before departure. The Università del Salento will issue any supplementary certificate which might be necessary to obtain recognition. For the course list and detailed information about the enrollment please download the Brochure "Course Taught in English" in the Section Documenti
Erasmus Programs
European students engaged in the Erasmus program can refer to the International Mobility Office which provides information and assistance to all students participating in such mobility programs. For detailed information and on-line application visit web site.
